Role of personality traits in shaping entrepreneurial intention: Comparative study of South Korea and Vietnam

This paper investigates the role of personality traits in nurturing entrepreneurial intention South Korea and Vietnam. We developed a research model to examine integrated influence both positive characteristics dark triad on Primary data was collected from 550 students 700 Vietnam using convenient sampling method self-administered questionnaire survey. used structural equation modelling (SEM) analyse relationships between attributes, triads, two samples. T-tests were also performed explore any differences students’ regarding their family background gender. Findings showed that attributes triads differently countries. While mainly influenced Vietnamese startup, Korean received more impact such as risk tolerance, locus control, alertness. Surprisingly, gender tradition do not affect intention. Based our findings, we suggested policymakers higher education institutions promote intentions future.
